I talked to Shiro, we believe it may have been some sort of storm the fleet passed through which caused a temporary malfunction. But it simply does not make any sense.
[also she was kind of hoping you did have an answer...]
Yes, I'm fine. Just a bit of bruising from when the gravity turned back on. And you?
You're right, it doesn't quite add up. Excellent first theory, though! Who knows, we may have some kind of salvageable readings once we manage to get everything back in order.
I'm about the same. Glad you're okay! Would you like me to make my way towards the Bridge or the engines first?
I certainly hope something is salvageable. And that the full power is restored. It appears Keith and Pidge are on the Eluvio, and I am concerned if full power is not restored they may be stuck there.
[granted Keith is still being weird about staying on the Eluvio in the first place but like. Whatever.]
I'm headed towards the Bridge now, so I think it would be best if you checked the engines.
[ Sometimes a young man needs his space. No pun intended. ]
Righto! Haven't smelled any smoke yet, so things are already looking up.
I'm sure we'll manage another way to get between ships if we can't put things back in order quickly enough, though. It's an important door to keep open in times like these!
[ dear diary: today my advice was once again invaluable to a paladin of voltron. it was a good day. ]
If you don't, we can pop out together after I pop in! You're right to take advantage of a little quiet, though. Not every day that things are more or less peaceful.
Now, I don't suppose you've gotten any hearsay about those diplomatic efforts that are meant to be going on? Haven't been able to pin anyone down about it!
No one I've met. If I did find their names, might as well have them written in Glebjul runes for all the good it'll do me! Still, the crew seemed determined to send along passengers with a bit more experience for this bit. At least there's that.
They asked for qualifications of the ones who went down to Oros on Alpha and Beta missions, too, I think. The ones that ended up disabling the defense grid.
All the more reason to keep vigilant and do a bit of digging! Suppose we could keep working on teaching other passengers those defensive basics. Apart from getting the word out, the real problem is finding a place that would be safe to train if the power suddenly cut out again.
I'm definitely planning to keep the defence classes up, but it might be difficult to find any safe place to train if the power cuts out again. It might just be a risk we have to take and mitigate as much as possible.
I wonder if we can't shop for some sturdy lanterns in one of these districts. Maybe get supplies to make some of our own! Lighting's one of the more important requirements, after all.
That sounds like a plan. We would have to fix them to something while training in case the gravity goes as well, so no one gets hit by one, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

Are you going to the bridge?

And tread with caution if you're near the cryopods, please! Never know how long you might accidentally spend in stasis if they're malfunctioning.

Well, none that I'd noticed. I don't know what we could have missed!
Are you alright?

[ why would they have been... ]
Why do you ask? Find something interesting?

Not really. I've mostly been catching up on sleep.

That sounds like a good use for your time! Rest is incredibly important for functioning properly! You'll find that's true for most species.

The whole team ought to think about taking some time in that district while we can.
